Value Sets

• Our value sets $D$ will be finite, contiguous ranges of $\mathbb{Z}$, the set of integers
  • Any such $D$ will always include $0$
  • Notation: $D=[L,H]=\{i\in \mathbb{Z}:L\le i\le H\}$
• All other value sets will eventually be related back to such a $D$
